An obsolete
network was impeding productivity and was a potential security
liability.

Solution:

After
an on-site consulation, we discussed various possible reconfigurations
of the network topology. We decided on implementing an integrated
FreeBSD/Windows topology and had a fully functional, custom, and secure
system installed and configured in two days.

A local jazz
band wanted their own website and the facilities to host it themselves,
giving them the control to implement streaming MP3s without incurring
any additional hosting fees.

Solution:
|
We decided
that a custom-built FreeBSD box running Apache would best serve their
needs. After building the server and installing it in the house
of one of the members, we collaborated with the entire band to design a
professional website to deliver their music to their fans.

MPI Software,
as
part of their relocation to another building, bought space in a large
colo facility. Fuzzy Logic Systems consultants were brought in to
help facilitate the move to the new colo, as well as assist in the
setup and configuration of new resource monitoring and remote
administration hardware

| Solution: |
We
completed the colo migration in under 8 hours, and ended up using Open
Source software on a RedHat Linux box to facilitate the resource
monitoring. We finished up by installing a Windows VPN accessed
through a RADIUS server, as per the customer's specifications.

Education came to us for help in setting up a Linux box to review and
test the Unix version of a popular Electrical Engineering program.

Their
administrator
had little experience with Linux, so we set up Debian/GNU Linux on one
of their servers. After completing the basic Linux configuration,
we coordinated with the test programs' company to get the License
Server software working correctly over CBE's network. The result
was yet another satisfied customer.

and download quickly, allowing them to make the most of their
residential broadband connection.
